2. Purpose and use of the website
This website provides information about the shop and services of KCs Hardware SL and lets you request bookings and quotes. Using the site makes you a user and implies acceptance of these terms. You agree to use the site properly and not for unlawful purposes.
Prices shown on the site are indicative, include IVA (VAT) unless stated otherwise, and may change. The final price of any service is always confirmed in writing (email or WhatsApp) or in the shop before you commit. Requests sent through the site's forms are booking or quote requests and do not form a contract until expressly confirmed by KCs Hardware SL. No payments are taken through this website.
3. Tool, equipment and mobility scooter hire terms
An online booking is a request subject to availability; it is confirmed when KCs Hardware SL expressly says so. Hire is paid at collection.
You must show valid ID at collection. Equipment is handed over checked and in working order; mobility scooters come with a usage demonstration. You agree to use the equipment carefully and as instructed, and you are responsible for loss, theft or damage beyond normal wear during the hire period.
Late returns are charged at the applicable daily rate for the extra days. KCs Hardware SL may refuse a hire on reasonable grounds (for example unsuitable intended use or missing identification).
4. Bollard fitting and beam replacement terms
Price calculations shown on the site ('from' per-metre beam prices and 'from' bollard prices) are indicative. A written quote is provided before any work starts; work begins only once you have accepted the quote. Fitting dates are confirmed by phone or WhatsApp.
Work is carried out by trusted local trades using materials suitable for outdoor use. You are responsible for any permissions your community of owners or the authorities may require for installations at your parking space or property.
Services carry the statutory guarantees applicable under Spanish consumer law (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007).
5. Key holding, property checks and holiday rental services terms
Keys are stored securely, identified by code only, with nothing that would let a third party link them to an address. Access to your property is only given to people you have expressly authorised (family, guests, trades).
Periodic checks cover the visual inspection described on the service page, with a photo report. KCs Hardware SL is not responsible for pre-existing damage or defects, nor for issues not detectable by a reasonable visual inspection. Insuring the property remains the owner's responsibility.
Changeover services for holiday lets (cleaning, laundry, guest arrivals and departures) are priced per changeover and agreed in advance based on the letting calendar you provide.
6. Maintenance and repairs
Plumbing, electrical and building work is carried out by trusted local trades, always under a written quote accepted beforehand. We do not work on air conditioning systems. When KCs Hardware SL holds your keys, work can be done while you are away, with your express authorisation and a photo report on completion.
7. Parcel collection point (HolaParcel)
KCs Hardware SL will become a HolaParcel collection point (Launching November 2026). The terms of the parcel service will be published in this section when the service launches.
8. Intellectual property
The contents of this site (text, images, logos and design) belong to KCs Hardware SL or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission, beyond uses allowed by law.
9. Liability
KCs Hardware SL does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website or error-free content, and is not liable for damages arising from use of the site to the extent the law allows. Links to third-party sites (Google Maps, HolaParcel, social networks) are provided for information; KCs Hardware SL is not responsible for their content.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights that consumer law grants to consumers, which cannot be waived.
10. Applicable law and complaints
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes will be heard by the courts determined by consumer legislation; for non-consumers, the courts of Totana / Murcia.
Complaint forms (hojas de reclamaciones) are available to consumers, and you may also contact the consumer information offices (OMIC) of the Region of Murcia. For online disputes, the European Commission provides a dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
